Dr Mon has been practising medicine since 2010 after she attained MBBS. She then decided to specialise in a General Practice and joined (GMT) Generalist Medical Training by James Cook University in QLD. Following this she completed speciality training in family medicine and was conferred fellowship of Royal Australian College Of General Practitioners.
Before specialising in Family Medicine, Dr Mon had worked in hospitals such as Launceston General Hospital Tasmania, Ipswich General Hospital & Theodore hospital Queensland.
Dr Mon enjoys all aspects of General Practice and she has special interests in women’s & children’s health, chronic diseases management and weight management. She is passionate about motivating patients to understand that making positive small changes can result in big differences to their physical and mental wellbeing.
She loves family medicine because she enjoys providing holistic, compassionate and continuity of care to her patients that gives her great sense of job satisfaction. When not working she enjoys gardening, traveling to new places and catching up with friends
