Dr Kyawsoe (Ryan) Chen

Dr Ryan Chen is a highly qualified clinician and researcher with over a decade of experience in medicine and skin cancer care. He holds an MBBS, MSc (Medicine) from ANU, and a PhD (Medicine) from the University of Adelaide. Dr Chen completed his residency across major Australian hospitals including St Vincent’s, Westmead, Auburn, Calvary and Alice Springs, with a dermatology term at St Vincent’s Hospital.
He is extensively trained in skin cancer detection and treatment, holding certificates in Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine, and Advanced Surgical workshop from Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA). Outside of work, he enjoys family time, reading, swimming, and travel.

– Skin cancer detection using dermoscope and management
– Surgical procedures including skin grafts and flaps where indicated.
Consultation Fees
Standard appointment types Monday through to Sunday are BULK BILLED for all patients with a valid Medicare card. Fees apply for all procedures including excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, iron infusions and other procedural appointment types.
